by Daniel Orozco
This was a novelty piece, in the format of a policeman's log book. Clever, though, and very funny at times. The bit about "Daddy's Sweet Bitch" was so out-of-the-blue that it made one of us (Stevens) genuinely flop over with laughter. Ending was a bit New Yorkerish, but what else could Orozco do? Very clever, and a fun one.

I thought it was cute and funny but with many problems, mainly having to do with author breaking out of the format.
That said, I thought his descriptions were excellent. "Daddy's Sweet Bitch" and the washing machine incident in particular.
I was actually a bit confused by the washing-machine arc. That's where they finally end up, having gone back once or twice already. What was that all about? What was going on at that address? I feel like I'm probably missing something obvious...
